My name is Kevin Buchan and I come from Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire. I have always been into art from a young age.

I served time as a welder and travelled the world doing this. When I moved to Amsterdam, this is when I got back into my art work again using pencil and pastels as my main mediums.

When I moved to Edinburgh I spent a year at Leith Art School. During this time is when I starting using oil paints within my artwork.

I use my painting as expression. I get inspiration for my art work through music, politics and history.
